§ 20-213. Water supply facilities.

When public water supply and distribution facilities are available to the subdivision plat, the subdivider shall cause such water supply and distribution facilities to be installed in such a manner as to make adequate water service available to each lot within the subdivision. The subdivider shall make provisions for adequate private water systems as required by the town in accordance with the standards of the state department of natural resources (DNR) and state department of health and social services. Engineered plans must be submitted to the town plan commission and board for approval as recommended by the town engineer and as approved by the Waukesha Water Utility and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) or other regulatory agencies as required.
