§ 2-236. Facsimile signatures on checks.

In lieu of the personal signature of the town clerk-treasurer and chairperson, there may be affixed on order checks the facsimile signatures of such persons adopted by them and approved by the town board, but the use of the facsimile signature shall not relieve such official from any liability to which he is otherwise subject, including the unauthorized use thereof.
